Forbes just published an interesting interactive map that shows where Americans are moving to and from. From my quick scientific assessment Seattle seems to be the winner. New York and Washington are doing OK as well. Americans seem to escape California before it goes really bankrupt and if you live in Detroit… GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN!
Seattle (black = moves to Seattle, red = leaves Seattle)
New York (black = moves to NY, red = leaves NY)
Los Angeles (black = moves to LA, red = leaves LA)
Detroit (black = moves to Detroit, red = leaves Detroit)
