Hot Date

Ik had vandaag een hot date… 
Hil en ik hadden Ashley gevraagd om op te passen zodat we een hapje konden gaan eten in Bellevue en naar de bioscoop konden gaan. Onze keuze viel op Slumdog Millionaire, een film die aangeraden werd door een collega van me.

Het gebeurt niet vaak dat er aan het eind van een film geapplaudiseerd wordt door het publiek maar het gebeurde in dit geval. Een staande ovatie… voor een film!

Terecht, want het was echt een goede film. Zo’n film die eens in de zoveel tijd voorbij komt en in dit geval een vreemde kruising tussen Hollywood en Bollywood:
